Do you ever seek solitude in nature to get away from your daily routine?
When you continuously run through daily activities, we often forget to slow down to reflect and understand why we do what we do. And we loose our balance and connection to self. In a world filled with routine daily activities, how do you block out the noise to find a moment of peace and clarity?
In this post, I show you three steps I take to clear the clutter and noise surrounding me. So I can listen to my inner guide.

Finding Solitude in Nature
When I was fourteen years old I asked myself this question. What if my life was a lie. That everything I was taught as a child moved me away from the person I was meant to be.
Imagine with me for a second—what if you’re stuck in a cycle of never ending monotonous daily routine that you forget who you are. It’s not difficult to become lost in all the chaos happening around us.
We live in a two dimensional world. The external world where society rules and we compete and conform with all the noise around us to survive.
Wanting to be heard.
To be acknowledge.
To feel accepted.
What shapes our perception of the world around us begins within our environment.
CHILDREN ABSORB EVERYTHING.
The early years … from birth to seven … their upbringing … the education system … our life experiences. These are the systems that condition us.
When we take time to slow down our life, everything makes sense. Because only in our inner world do we find focus and clarity to discover who we are amidst the chaos surrounding us.
My 3 Steps to Find Focus and Clarity
Everyday we follow a routine which steals our attention. And sometimes we get stuck or feel lost in the system. Which is why we need to slow down to comeback into our selves.
These three steps led me away from society’s norm so I can tune into a frequency within me to reconnect to my inner guide.
1. Bush Walking
After a quiet walk in nature, I am often refreshed and can continue with clearer mind to start with new ideas. To lose myself in nature is to reconnect with me.
2. Reflection
When you are alone, your mind has no choice but to wander inside your thoughts. And as I reflect on all I have done and all I want to do, I am aware of the natural world around me.
3. Surrender
The energy of the forest is alive and refreshing. And because I am aware of my surroundings, I detach myself from every outcome. Because truly when you connect to nature, you will realize you were never alone. When your mind is quiet, the answers you seek appear naturally from within.
So there you go, my three steps for finding focus and clarity. When you take time for yourself, somehow you find your way out of the chaos in our world. Only then can you focus and see clearly who you are and what you want to do. We all know this but often the struggle is fear of facing ourselves.
